The gallery is a large Spanish style building, showcasing local artisans. There are monthly exhibitions specialising in painting, mosaics, photography, sculpture, fashions, ceramics and jewellery. The directors are Patricia Turner Smith and her daughter Eve. Patricia is a graduate from The Tasmanian School of Art, who specialises in painting and mosaics. Eve, a professional artistic photographer, runs her business 'Eve Creative Photografix' based at the gallery. Patricia and Eve have a long history of running art galleries. Visitors are treated to the entire creative experience as demonstrations of art work in progress take place. 1 on Park Art Gallery is located at Dodges Ferry which is 12-minutes' drive (17 kilometres/10.5 miles) from Sorell.
