Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Mooloolaba Beach, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, Queensland 4557 Australia

Mooloolaba’s picturesque coastline is the perfect place to observe the humpback whales during their migration every winter. Our guests can watch them frolic & play around the spectacular scenery of Mooloolaba Beach, Point Cartwright lighthouse & the historic Mudjimba Island.

Pass By: Point Cartwright, Pacific Boulevard, Mooloolaba, Queensland Australia

Flanked on one side by the ocean and the Mooloolah River on the other, Point Cartwright is a stunning beach, located at the base of the headland at the northern end of Kawana Beach. See the iconic Point Cartwright lighthouse and ocean themed mural-painted reservoir.

Pass By: Alexandra Headland, Alexandra Headland, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Alexandra Headland has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere that complements the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south.

Pass By: Mudjimba, Mudjimba, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Old Woman Island (or Mudjimba Island) is located 1km off the coast. There are a number of Aboriginal legends abound about the Island. One has it, the Island was the result of an epic battle between two men, Coolum and Ninderry, and a woman called Maroochy. The end result was that Coolum's head was knocked off and ended up in the ocean, creating Mudjimba Island. Mount Coolum, seven kilometers to the north, is now flat topped due to the lack of a head!
There are various other legends involving Aboriginal women living on the island until old age, hence the "Old Woman" name.

Absolutely brilliant. The crew were highly knowledgeable and experienced, they gave us a fun but comfortable boat trip out from Mooloolaba with interesting and informative commentary. They went above and beyond to show us the best of the whale behaviour. The boat itself is large enough to be comfortable but small enough to have a great view both sides. It's also fast so they can find the whales quickly and the ride out there is fun but not so extreme as to be at all uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this trip.

Both Georgia and Brendan were great guides. Brendan did his very best to make sure we spotted a whale and sure enough after an hour and forty five minutes later we saw mum and her calf breaching. It was amazing and made our day. It was a well run experience. Thank you and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Unfortunately the weather was not suitable and the company had to cancel, but they sent the cancellation notice out early so I was able to plan other activities. Hoping to book in again.

What an awesome way to not only explore Mooloolaba, but to see the whales in action! Another cool part of the experience was when we stopped and Georgia put down the hydrophone down in the water where we could hear the male singing! We just knew they weren't far off and we got to see them. We got lots of blows and a breach!! What a awesome experience. We highly recommend this tour and we will be back!
