Somali pirates are at it again and have hijacked a Yemeni ship loaded with steel in the   

Gulf of Aden, officials said on Tuesday, a day after local sources said the gang holding a Saudi supertanker were demanding a $15 million ransom.

SOMALI pirates holding an oil-laden Saudi supertanker say they will fight back if there is any military intervention to free the ship.

"I hope the owner of the tanker is wise enough and won't allow any military option because that would be disastrous for everybody. We are here to defend the tanker if attacked," Abdiyare Moalim said.

[Excerpts] The volume of junk e-mail sent worldwide dropped drastically today after a Web hosting firm identified by the computer security community as a major host of organizations allegedly engaged in spam activity was taken offline, according to security firms that monitor spam distribution online. Two contracted ISPs stopped providing Web-hosting firm McColo with Internet access, which immediately quieted several major botnets responsible for almost half of all delivered spam.

Property manager on fraud charges - Ray White Baldwin Property Management

A GOLD Coast property manager has been charged with six counts of fraud after an audit of a Southport real estate firm allegedly found nearly $1 million worth of unapproved transactions.

Michael John Baldwin, 52, of Ray White Baldwin Property Management, was arrested at Broadbeach and charged on Wednesday and released on bail.

He has 30 years' experience in property, the past 11 on the Gold Coast, including ownership of five real estate businesses, say police. Mr Baldwin also operates the Loan Market in Southport.
